Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is nominated once every two years at the National Convention. The current Committee will hold these positions until July 2019.  As the national governing body of Delta Epsilon Mu, the Committee is responsible for the upkeep and development of the national interests. We work with the Board of Directors, which is composed of two representatives from each chapter to ensure the success of our prestigious organization.

Gabrielle Maire

Gabrielle is a graduate of Binghamton University where she earned a BS in Integrative Neuroscience, a BA in Music, and a minor in Computer Science. She is currently in her second year at Columbia University studying for a Masters in Health Administration. Her main interests lie in the intersection between healthcare and technology. She currently works at a health tech startup that focuses on streamlining the contracting and billing process for RDs across the United States. In her free time, she enjoys tracking down trendy ice cream shops in NYC and playing the violin and ukelele.

Dhruv Sethi

Dhruv graduated with a BS in Psychology from the VCU Honors College in 2015. Dhruv completed his MPH at George Washington University and his MBA from the University of Richmond. He matriculated at the Medical College of Virginia as an MD student in the Fall of 2017. Dhruv hopes to continue to become involved in health care policy and administration to create better access to care for communities in need. Dhruv was born and raised in Richmond, VA where he continues to live and take advantage of amazing local food and everything the River City has to offer. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and staying up to date with the fields of healthcare and business!

Maggie Toye

Maggie is a 2017 graduate of Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise, and a minor in Biological Sciences. She is a founding member of the Alpha Gamma Chapter and served as their National Liaison for two consecutive years. Maggie's professional interests lie in nursing, and she is currently working as a Physical Therapy Technician before applying to graduate school. In her free time, Maggie enjoys watching tv, playing sports with friends, and reading.

Samantha Peña

Samantha is a double major in Health Sciences and Anthropology at the University of Central Florida. She graduated with an A.A. in General Studies with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. She is currently continuing her studies at the University of Central Florida and serving as DEM National Treasurer for the 2017-2019 term. She is currently a Medical Assistant at Optimotion Orthopedics in Orlando, FL and a Junior Accountant at American Concept & Design. She will be applying for medical school in 2019. In her free time, she enjoys studying homeopathic healing, adventure/traveling with friends, and spending time with her son, Nathaniel.

Tony Da Lomba

Tony is a 2017 graduate of the Alpha Beta chapter at the University of Richmond where he earned a BS in Biology and a BA in French. He formerly served as the alumni representative for his chapter. Tony recently completed a gap year working as a Fellow with a patient advocacy nonprofit, Take the Fight to Cancer, and as a scribe for an orthopedic clinic. He is excited to begin medical school at the University of Chicago, where he matriculated in the Fall of 2018. In his free time, Tony enjoys drawing and painting, running, and exploring new restaurants in the city of Richmond.

Jacq Castellanos

Jacq is a 2017 graduate of Florida International University with a B.A. in Psychology. She is a founder and former chapter president of the Alpha Eta chapter at FIU. She is currently applying to graduate programs for occupational therapy. In the meantime, she is completing observation hours at an occupational therapy and speech therapy clinic and also volunteering part-time at a cerebral palsy center. Her leisurely interests include traveling, exercising, reading and spending time with friends.

Randell Rueda

Randell was born and raised in San Jose, California but has lived a majority of his life in the Central Valley of California. He became a Founder of the Theta Chapter at the University of California, Merced in 2009. He later graduated in 2011 with a B.S. Biological Sciences with Emphasis in Microbiology/Immunology, a Minor in Anthropology, and a Minor in Public Health. He went on to attend UC Davis School of Medicine,  graduating in 2017 and matching into Family Medicine in Fresno, California. Outside of his professional endeavors, Randell enjoys listening to music, reading, writing poetry, and learning about other cultures through cultural immersion.
